Association for Project Management (APM) has appointed new Leads and Deputy Leads for its Regional Networks. Chosen following a rigorous selection process, the new appointees will help shape local activity and strengthen connections across the APM community. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be introducing each of the new Leads and Deputy Leads. In the first part, we will introduce the Leads and Deputy Leads for our Regional Networks in the Channel Islands, East of England, Greater Bay and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Channel Islands

Lead - Adam Brown

What impact would you like this Network to have within your region?

I want the Network to become a central point of connection and professional growth, somewhere practitioners can develop skills, share experience, and contribute to improving project delivery across both islands. Ultimately, the goal is to strengthen capability across the profession and across sectors.

What would your message be to anyone considering following or engaging with this Network, but who perhaps isn’t 100% sure?

Get involved. Whether you’re new to the profession or highly experienced, engaging with the Network gives you access to a supportive community, learning opportunities, and a chance to contribute to the profession’s continued development.

Deputy Lead - Scott Crittell

What made you want to play a leading role in this Regional Network?

I have been part of the Channel Isles Network since inception and worked with colleagues here and at APM to move Channel Isles to full Network status. With Adam taking the Chair it seemed a natural progression to keep the Deputy Chair role in Guernsey with Adam being in Jersey. It’s a nice split.

East of England

Lead - Daniel Bradley

What do you think is the most pressing issue affecting the project profession in your region at the moment and why?

East Anglia has a unique position in that we are delivering projects across the energy transition, as well as major infrastructure and transportation upgrades. Delivering this volume of projects is going to need more resources and project management talent across the region

Deputy - Audrey Sipos

What made you want to play a leading role in this Regional Network?

I wanted to play a leading role because I’m genuinely passionate about strengthening our regional project community, creating meaningful connections, supporting professional growth, and helping shape a network where everyone feels empowered to contribute and thrive.

Greater Bay Area

Lead - Marcel Ekkel

What do you think is the most pressing issue affecting the project profession in your region at the moment and why?

Understanding and recognition of the profession and the role. It is often a secondary role that people play.

What are you most looking forward to working on with the Network?

Building a team that can elevate the profession in the area through a diverse set of activities with our individual members, corporate members and students.

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Lead - Nicola Henderson-Reid

What made you want to play a leading role in this Regional Network?

Having led major, complex programmes across the UK and internationally, I see this as an opportunity to contribute at a strategic level, bringing together experience, insight and leadership to strengthen the profession and support delivery at scale across the region.

How do you plan to encourage participation and collaboration within the Network?

By curating a purposeful, outcomes-focused network, connecting industry, clients and partners through high-value dialogue, shared learning and practical insight that directly supports delivery excellence and capability growth.

Deputy - Darren Mullan

What are the main areas where your Regional Network can make a difference?

Highlighting the 'gold standard' of training and membership (including the Chartership route) that the APM offers to both support and acknowledge project professionals along their career pathway. Promoting the value and contribution of project professionals across the Kingdom's portfolio of transformational programmes and projects. Establishing and growing the local network of project professionals so that we can leverage each other's knowledge and experience.

In the coming weeks, we’ll continue to spotlight more of our newly appointed Regional Network Leads and Deputy Leads and the priorities they’ll be focusing on in their regions. If you want to learn more about APM Regional Networks, click here.
